Devotion to Mother Mary is Necessary for Salvation

In these times of compromise, it is a sad thing to see how the Virgin Mother of God is always hidden, it seems.
Catholics seem to be afraid to honor our Holy Mother." It is always a happy moment for me to see a person with
the Brown Scapular, or a baseball player wearing his rosary. We should never be afraid to honor Our Mother,
after all she is our mother! As our mother, she loves us and would never abandon us. Her prayers to her Son
carry much weight. At the wedding feast of Cana our Lord performed His first public miracle at her request even
though it was not time yet. She will purify our prayers, cleanse them and present them to her Son. So it is said by
many that devotion to Our Lady is necessary for salvation. Our Mother is " full of Grace" ( Luke 1:28 ) So when we
say, "Pray for us now and at the hour of death", we are asking God's perfect creature, sinless virgin, to take our
prayers before the throne. She will make sure our prayers are presentable for the Lord, for no one else would no
better then the sinless Virgin Mother of God. "For behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed."
( Luke 1:48 )
" All the saints have a great devotion to Our Lady: no grace comes from Heaven without passing through her
hands. We cannot go into a house without speaking to the door-keeper. Well, the Holy Virgin is the doorkeeper of
Heaven."
John Mary Vianney
" Every grace which is communicated has a three -fold origin: it flows from God to Christ, from Christ to the Virgin,
and from the Virgin to us."
Pope Leo XIII
" The Child is not found without Mary, His Mother. If, then, it is impossible to seperate what God has united, it is
also certain that you cannot find Jesus except with Mary and through Mary."
Pope St. Pius X
" Many have proved invincibly, from the sentiments of the Fathers-among others: St. Augustine, St Ephem, St.
Cyril of Jerusalem, St. Germanus of Conantinople, St. John Damascene, St. Anselm, St. Bernard, St. Bernardine,
St. Thomas, and St. Bonaventure-that devotion to Our Most Blessed Virgin is necessary for salvation, and that it is
an infallible mark of reprobation to have no esteem or love for that Holy Virgin while, on the other hand, it is an
infallible mark of predestination to be entirely and truly devoted to her."
Saint Louis Mariae de Montfort
" Mary is the Ark of God, the center of the universe, the cause of creation, the business of the ages. Towards her
turn the men who have gone before us, we who are now living, those who are to follow us, our children's children,
and their descendants. If we have any chance of salvation, we have it all from Mary. Go, then, have recourse to
Mary."
Saint Bernard
" We must never separate Jesus from Mary, we can go to Him only through her. Without Mary, we would never
find Jesus. Whoever would say, " I have no need of Mary" would be guilty of blasphemy! Our eternal salvation is at
stake, and we are bound to honor her as the Mother of God and our Mother."
St. Peter Julian Eymard
