| Ignorance of the Truths of Salvation |
I often hear the question, What about those who never hear the truth ? With this question in mind, I
often wonder, do people REALLY believe Jesus is God? The answer to this question is rather simple
if one believes Jesus is God and the Holy Ghost is God. On the odd chance that a person has never
heard of Jesus I say as the saints say, He will give them all they need to be saved, even if it is to
send a priest to them to instruct them in the true faith. Ignorance of the Truth is "reckoned one of the
general causes of sin. ALL sin proceeds from ignorance," says Saint Thomas Aquinas. With the only
thought of mine to bring home those who are outside the fold, I offer testimony from Holy Scripture
and the Saints,Fathers,Popes and Doctors of the Church. My hope is that everyone who reads this
stops thinking ignorance can save those who never heard of the Savior. Perhaps they will spread the
Gospel of Truth instead of looking for loopholes to say everyone can be saved by being ignorant:
" That whatever is done through ignorance must not be considered a sin, is hereby condemned as
error."

" It does not suffice to say: " If I had known that such a thing were forbidden by the law of God, I
would have conformed." St. Paul , in persecuting Christians, previous to his conversion, did not
think that he was committing evil; the same may be said of Jews who persecuted and crucified
Christ. And yet, Saint Paul and these Jews were not innocent and excusable. If they had died in that
state , they would have never been saved. Hence, St. Paul, despite the good faith he acted on,
acknowledges that he was at that time a blasphemer, and unjust: a persecute of the Church. If,

law of God, his ignorance does not excuse him from sin."

Please pray for all those who claim to be ignorant of the truths necessary to be saved, that they may
"knock and the door shall be opened". Please do not take the position that they don't know and
therefore are innocent as this is heresy as shown above. All those who wish to do God's will are given
guidance by the Holy Ghost to come home to the one True Church.. Everyone is given enough grace
to save his or her soul but they must cooperate with grace. Please pray also for an increased love of
Jesus that we may have missionaries in abundance to spread the good news of Christ and His Church.
