In our time many people have forgotten the names of the twelve Apostles, if
they ever knew them. This is a sad thing as we owe our Catholic faith to
these men. All of the twelve suffered martyrdom for the truths of the Catholic
faith. Saint John did not die from his martyrdom. He was boiled in red hot oil
but survived. We owe so much to these men as they were brave enough to
following the call to spread the message of salvation, without compromise,
even until death. Pray that Our Lord send us more like the Apostles to
continue to spread the message of salvation.
" That was the true Light, which enlighteneth
every man that cometh into this world."

St.John 1:9
